Run From Robots – Rust

Pop punksters Run From Robots are about to release this, their debut
album. The ten tracks on offer here will be familiar to anyone who has
ever listened to Good Charlotte, Blink 182 etc, etc. The band go for the
twin vocal approach as with most bands of this ilk featuring the
talents of Tom Yeo and Matt Brass who also double up on guitar duties.

What they do though, they do well and with tracks the calibre of the
lead track from the album ‘ On Top Of The Game ( Everybody’s Perfect )’
and the catchy closing track ‘Wolf Spider’ the band come across well.

However, the pool they are swimming in is a busy one indeed and
there is nothing here that isn’t already available elsewhere by other
bands who are already well established. On this showing Run From Robots
are in the pool, but it’s strictly doggy paddle at the moment.
