FAIR WARNING – Best and More

Fair Warning has been on the go for 20 years now and remains one of Germany’s best kept secrets, producing melodic rock of the highest order.  The band has produced six studio albums and four live albums (!)

This compilation covers their discography well, with no fewer than 32 songs on two discs!  Not much in the way of bonus material for die-hards: a mediocre live cover of Zeppelin’s “Rock ‘n roll”, but “Light in the dark” and “Children’s eyes” may spark some interest.

This is a great compilation to provide an introduction to the band and a demonstration as to why they are so criminally underrated.  Maybe SPV should consider re-releasing and remastering the studio back catalogue?  Worth considering…
