T.REX – Electric Warrior Deluxe Edition

Universal

This work from what many would describe as the pioneer of glam rock was released around the time I was born!  It was Marc Bolan’s most successful release and, over forty years later, it’s easy to see why.

The sound quality is incredible (taking into account that it was recorded forty years ago with analogue equipment) and it is evident that Bolan’s friendship with David Bowie had an influence on his music.  Four bonus tracks adorn the original album, while an additional disc of 21 (!) unreleased tracks are added.

Fans are encouraged to pick this one up, while youngsters are encouraged to listen to how rock ‘n roll has evolved.  A wonderful blast from the past.
