What have you got planned music wise for next year?

FM – FM Album No. 7, ROCKVILLE due out 11th March 2013 and touring.

The new album is being funded via Pledge Music. How has this going so far and what sort of goodies do fans get for pledging?

FMPledge Music is a great new way for bands to finance themselves.  Our campaign is going really well.  On ours you can get the new album plus a deluxe version which has 10 brand new original songs so I guess you could say it’s a bona fide double album.  There are lots more things too including appearing in our promo videos, hand written lyric sheets, signed drum heads and sticks… Check out our page at http://bit.ly/FMpledge1

Since FM have returned do you find you perhaps enjoy it more now as you don’t have the pressure of building up a live following and sales as you would have back in the late 80′s?

FMThere’s still pressure because we of course want to make the best albums and play the best shows we possibly can. We also need to build on our loyal core of fans so we can go on to bigger and better things. There’s always pressure but it comes with the territory, we’re not complaining.
