EP review : FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS – We’re Not Losing, We’re Just Not Winning

Self Release ( Release date – 26th August 2013)

These pop punksters from Lincoln have only been together since the beginning of 2013, so they could be forgiven for producing substandard, badly written tracks. No such concessions are required though as this EP contains five highly infectious pop punk tracks that will bring a smile to your face.

The band are as bouncy as a kangaroo on a trampoline with music to match. Big riffs and hooky choruses are the order of the day with great vocal harmonies thrown in for good measure. Anyone of a certain age who remembers Hundred Reasons will be right at home here. The closing track on the EP ‘Worn Out’ in particular brought the Hundred Reasons comparison to mind with a multi layered vocal outro that will have the crowd chanting along in a live setting.

As a debut EP from a band that have only been together a few months this is highly impressive. Most definitely a name to keep an eye on for the future.
