The incendiary guitarist from MC5, affectionately known as Brother Wayne Kramer, will play a Glastonbury warm-up show with Danish psych-surfmongers The Good The Bad at London’s Blues Kitchen on Friday 28th June.
It’s the first duel between the two artists since their impromptu-turned-spastic rendition of “Kick Out The Jams” at SXSW last year, when Kramer was attending the festival to play shows with Tom Morello and promote his Jail Guitar Doors charity:

The Blues Kitchen show will see both artists play their own material and guest on each other’s work in a rousing finale. Kramer is playing Glastonbury for the first time at the invitation of Billy Bragg and headlines the Leftfield stage on Saturday 29th June.
Wayne Kramer said ‘Thelonious Monk is alive and well with an electric guitar in The Good The Bad. They’re my idea of a cool band, and one of the most original I’ve seen in the last decade.” Event details: http://goo.gl/RWbvJ
In his show broadcast on Get Ready to ROCK! Radio on 10 May David Randall played a further selection of artists and albums included in the new Features series, “2020 Vision”.
