News: STAN BUSH and FERREIRA new albums

THE ULTIMATE STAN BUSH ALBUM ARRIVES IN MARCH:

Legendary AOR singer/songwriter Stan Bush is ready to deliver The Ultimate – and MelodicRock Records is proud to announce a partnership to bring Stan’s all-new studio album to fans worldwide.

MelodicRock Records has signed Stan Bush for the release of The Ultimate in Europe, with Stan’s own LA Records handling the USA release.

Worldwide icon of melodic rock Stan Bush is best known for his song The Touch, made famous by Transformers: The Movie. An anthem for Transformers fans around the world, “The Touch” was released for Guitar Hero in 2009 and remixed by High Moon Studios in 2013 for their hit video game Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. It has also been featured on NBC’s Chuck, FOX’s American Dad, Deep Silver’s Saints Row IV and in the motion picture Boogie Nights.

The Ultimate is Stan Bush’s 12th studio album and delivers his most electrifying work yet! Reuniting with “Touch” collaborator Lenny Macaluso for the powerful title anthem, The Ultimate sees Bush return with the kind of uplifting motivational rock that has become his signature. The Macaluso track “Thunder in Your Heart” gets reinvented for The Ultimate album, which also contains the soaring anthems “Heat of the Battle” and “Unstoppable.”
Stan Bush’s new album The Ultimate offers trademark tracks like “Stand in the Fire” alongside the heartfelt introspection of “Love Again,” “The Memory of You” and “Something to Believe” as Bush takes on love, loss and the search for meaning. With his latest release, the veteran rocker strikes the perfect balance between his high-octane, positively-charged style and mature, emotive songcraft.

In 2010, Stan Bush released the audio gem Dream The Dream, and one of the music videos, “Your Time,” became a viral hit on YouTube. Bush’s active involvement with social media channels like YouTube and Twitter keeps his ever-growing fanbase engaged, while he remains on top of his game musically. Stan’s critically-acclaimed 2007 release In This Life was named “Album of the Year” by RockUnited.com! It features “Til All Are One,” the official theme of the global gathering of Transformers fans, BotCon.

In 1997, Stan Bush won an Emmy Award for Best Original Song for his track “Til I Was Loved By You.” Another Bush original, “Capture the Dream,” was featured at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. His songs are heard in two Jean-Claude Van Damme films: Kickboxer and Bloodsport. Stan has co-written with top songwriters like Jonathan Cain (Journey,) Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams, Aerosmith,) and Paul Stanley of KISS. Stan has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe in his storied career.

MRR owner Andrew McNeice: “Stan is one of the true icons of melodic rock. He has always been one of my favourite vocalists, dating back to his debut album and working with him over the years always a pleasure. It is an honor that we form a closer partnership to release his brand new album, which I think has all the requirements to become another Stan Bush classic.”

The Ultimate is set for release worldwide on March 17!

There will be a pre-sale announcement for the album in February on MelodicRock.com and StanBush.com and folks can always reserve a copy via their favourite online retailers in due course. Stan will headline the Friday night of MelodicRockFest 4 this October in Arlington Heights, IL.

Ferreira is a band fronted by Marco Ferreira (Goodbye Thrill, Venturia) on the veins of Harem Scarem, Ratt, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, early Queen, Mr. Big, Dokken. Line-up: Marco Ferreira – guitars, vocal and keys, Alex Ferreira (Goodbye Thrill) – Drums and Backing vocals, Dario Seixas (touring and recording with Jack Russel’s Great White, Firehouse, Crown of Thorns, Goodbye Thrill) on Bass and backing vocals.

The band’s focus has always been on guitar riffs, big choruses, lots of harmonies and huge backing vocals….high energy songs all the way. Marco, Brazilian resident in US since 1996, has being putting music out as Ferreira since 2002 with the release of “Fallen Heroes” under the label Shire Records label. In 2009 the second album “Working Overtime” was released, followed in 2010 by the third release “Better Run!”. Last was “Are You In?” in 2011.
Marco is also known by his other projects such as the singer of the French progressive metal Venturia with their debut “New Kingdom” in 2006 and 2009 with their second release “Hybrid” (with DVD live in Geneva) both under the label Lion Music; and of course singer/guitarist and main songwriter of the US band Goodbye Thrill with three albums: 2007 (S/T) and “Keepsakes” (double with live acoustic DVD) and “Outrageous” both released in 2010 under Kivel Records label.

V was produced, mixed and mastered by Marco Ferreira at Playrec studio in NY.

Marco: “This is the fifth Ferreira release. Very proud of the new songs and the new label behind it. My first review ever was published on a still baby melodicrock.com by Andrew. We kept in touch over the years though all my projects (Goodbye Thrill, Ferreira and Venturia) and that page turned out to be what it is today. Going stronger year after year. More than 10 years later here we are.

We grew together in this crazy business, and we survived without never compromise. All fans of Ferreira and Goodbye Thrill won’t be disappointed. I got my boys Dario Seixas (Jack Russell’s Great White, Firehouse, Goodbye Thrill…) killing on the bass and Backing Vocals and my little brother Alex Ferreira (Goodbye Thrill) thundering on the Drums and Backing Vox and Myself on Vocals, guitars, Acoustic guitar and keys.

Thanks to Andrew of MMR, there was no rush on this album, instead an exchange of ideas and suggestions such as the opening intro (I was never a big fan of intros) but the one on the CD is exactly what was missing. I also had a pleasure to co-write one of the songs on with our record label mate Marc Farrano of Faith Circus. It came out GREAT!! Lots of work but great results, makes even more special. All production was done at my Playrec studio in Orangeburg, NY, from the writing to mastering. We took care of each second of every tune.

The album is now finalized and will soon be out. We can wait to share it with all our fans out there!”
