Deborah Bonham, Favourite Tracks from Favourite Artists, Sunday 5 April, 22:00 GMT

Two ladies of pop/rock are featured on Get Ready to ROCK! Radio on Sunday 5 April.

David Randall chats to Kiki Dee in the first of a two-part special (Part 2: Sunday 26 April, 16:00).  Kiki reflects on her 50-year plus career including her time in the sixties as a session singer, pop star and one of the few white artists signed to Motown.

Deborah Bonham tells David Randall how she has found her own “voice” in more recent times, respecting her legacy as the younger sister of Led Zeppelin drummer John whilst forging her own career as a solo artist with several well-regarded releases.

Deborah, who will be playing UK dates in April and festival dates in Europe this summer, chooses those tracks that have inspired or influenced her over the years.

Get Ready to ROCK! Radio recently announced that it was giving a higher profile to specially selected “featured artists” with more of the artists’ music featured in the general playlists.

Get Ready to ROCK! Radio broadcasts 18 hours a day from 06:00 GMT and the playlists reflect the broad content at www.getreadytorock.com.  The service is available via the dedicated website, in iTunes (radio) and the Tunein phone app as well as various internet radio online directories.
