News: WINTER ROCKS FESTIVAL – Corporation, Sheffield, 5 December 2015

The Temperance Movement

After the huge success of Winter Rocks Festival 2014, the rock all day event returns on Saturday 5 December with an even bigger line up of international and rising artists.

Keeping to its Sheffield roots, the event will take place at The Corporation: an award winning music nightclub that has been established for over 20 years in the heart of the city.

Headlining the main stage will be British rock & blues band THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT.  The band release their new album ‘White Bear’ in January 2016.

American hard rockers FOZZY (featuring WWE’s wrestling superstar Chirs Jericho on vocals) will be main support and they will be bringing US metal heavyweights NONPOINT with them to play the event.

Amongst the other bands appearing at this all-day event U.S. rockers CROBOT and SCORPION CHILD and, from the UK, highly-rated TAX THE HEAT and upcoming bands THE DIRTY YOUTH, SKARLETT RIOT, BAD TOUCH and FALLING RED.

On the second stage there is a mix of rising stars and Sheffield talent with headliners Welsh rockers BUFFALO SUMMER (pictured) and the main support LIBERTY LIES.

Promoter Stuart Turner is delighted with the level of bands that have been attracted to Winter Rocks: “I always wanted to do an all day event where I could give rising Sheffield bands the chance to play with exciting touring artists. “

Winter Rocks Festival 2015 takes place at Corporation, Sheffield on Saturday 5th December. Doors at 12pm and tickets are priced £25 available from www.corporation.org.uk
