In 2011, during rehearsals for their winter UK tour, David Randall asked Bob Catley and Tony Clarkin about the rise of Magnum, discussing the early days, their reformation in the Millennium and upward trajectory during the past decade.
On Sunday 7 February (at 17:00 GMT) Get Ready to ROCK! Radio replays a special hour-long feature about Magnum.
The band have long been favourites at Get Ready to ROCK! and their progress since 2001 is paralleled by the development of the review-based website. To acknowledge their own 40th anniversary, and the website’s 10th anniversary, in 2012 Magnum were made “GRTR! Ambassadors” culminating in a year of special promotion and features about the band.
On 26 February Magnum release their latest album – ‘Sacred Blood “Divine” Lies” – via SPV. They tour in Europe from 19 April (UK from 11 May).

Also on Sunday 7 February, at 19:00 GMT, Pete Feenstra chats to blues rock guitarist DEVON ALLMAN about his music ahead of his UK tour, starting 16 February.
Devon Allman is the son of legendary Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band and with whom he occasionally appears as a guest musician. He formed his own band Devon Allman’s Honeytribe and he was also a member of blues-rock supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood.
His first solo album “Turquoise” was released in February 2013 followed by “Ragged & Dirty” (2014) with The Devon Allman Band.
The Pete Feenstra Feature is a regular show on Sundays with artists chatting about their music and featuring their own album tracks and personal choices.
