News: ROBBIE RANSOM EP and In Session (September 2016)

Robbie Ransom

With a debut album lined up for autumn release, singer songwriter Robbie Ransom plays an exclusive live session for Get Ready to ROCK! Radio as part of the station’s ongoing ‘In Session’ series.

Robbie’s debut EP – ‘Rocks In My Pocket’ – is now available and the title track has become a station favourite over the summer.  Although hailing from London, Robbie’s sound is influenced by American rock and artists such as Neil Young and The Doors.

The songs on the EP deal with personal experiences, from family (‘I Am Thunder’) to the meaning of life itself (‘Man Alone’) and ‘Symbol Of The Night’ details a fox’s solitary struggle for survival.

The In Session series showcases unique performances by a range of specially selected artists who have included Martin Barre, Albany Down and Lisbee Stainton.

The Robbie Ransom session can be heard on Sunday 4 September at 21:00 GMT as part of the weekly ‘New to GRTR!’ showcasing new and forthcoming single and album releases.
