News: JUDIE TZUKE – new album, tour, exclusive radio play (July 2017)

JUDIE TZUKE - The Lowry, Salford, 10 May 2015

Singer songwriter Judie Tzuke releases a new album – ‘Peace Has Broken Out’ – on 1 September, ahead of a series of UK tour dates.

On Sunday 16 July at 22:00 GMT on Get Ready to ROCK! Radio there was a world exclusive first radio play for one of the album tracks.

Judie came to wider attention in 1979 with the hit single ‘Stay With Me Till Dawn’ and sustained her popularity with the debut album ‘Welcome To The Cruise’ and the follow-up ‘Sports Car’. In the late 1990s she anticipated the later trend for artist autonomy and established her own record label. From that time on she continued to release albums and tour, albeit in a more low-key fashion.

The new album is the labour of several years during which time Judie has experienced several set-backs, not least with health issues.

In late-June 2017 she was special guest of Christopher Cross and demonstrated that – nearly 40 years after her initial success – she can still command and enchant an audience.

The new album is now available to those who pre-ordered but the full general release will be available in early-September.
