When it comes to Whitesnake, however, I have to conclude that they played two shows last night. The one witnessed by David was apparently a cracker. Unfortunately, the one I was subjected to included possibly the worst vocal performance I've ever heard (and I fondly remember seeing Whitesnake play in the 80's). Not only did Mr Coverdale let the rest of the band "catch the high notes" during the opener - he hardly hit the right note in the right place all night. They say old rockers never die, but it seems that they CAN lose their voice. Bitterly disappointed.
