MARVLEC – Pack And Run EP
Marvlec are a new band from the US who formed in 2009 and this their new EP. They are sure to do well as they tap into the sound of bands like Shinedown who are big in the US and growing bigger by the day here in the UK and Europe. Mind you vocalist David Hamilton reminded me of former Live vocalist Ed Kowalczyk, no bad thing in my book!
The title track packs a nice punch but it is the song ‘What Are You Waiting For’ with its impassioned vocal and tasty guitar riffs that steals the show. The other song on here ‘Endeavor’ again reminded me of Live and seeing as that band seem to be no more Marvlec have a reedy made audience.
Do check them out as they show plenty of promise based on these three songs on offer.
