Never Hold An Underdog Down – You Me At Six by Neil Daniels

Never Hold An Underdog Down – You Me At Six by Neil Daniels

Publisher: Independent Music Press

This book was a great read. 154 pages crammed with the wonderfully written story of You Me At Six. Neil Daniels has written many band books in the past, including the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Journey. He has a very unique style of writing that makes your average unofficial band book seem bland and boring. His clever use of words, quotes and descriptive language make his works more interesting and stand out amongst any other already existing books about any other bands. It will be hard for any other author to create a book of this standard as it is the very first book about You Me At Six.

Daniels’ book gives a balanced view on everything and does not once become biased on any subject raised, which gives the reader an insight into the other side of things, which I personally think is great as you can see things in a different perspective.

With some lovely photos and a very handy discography at the back, You Me At Six – Never Hold An Underdog Down is a must have for any YMAS fan. And whether you’ve just started liking them or have been a fan since they played their first gig, it’s definitely one for your Christmas list!
