Carcass have named their new album ‘Torn Arteries’, which is due on August 7 via Nuclear Blast.
Heathen release their new album, ‘Empire Of The Blind’ later in the year via Nuclear Blast.
Def Leppard are working on their next album according to a recent interview with Vivian Campbell.
Bad Touch release their new album ‘Kiss The Sky’ on Marshall Records on June 19. The band tour the UK in September with special guests Piston.
Jocasta release a B-sides and demos album ‘Ideas Are Bulletproof’ on March 20 as a download/streaming.
Biffy Clyro have pushed the release of their new album back to August 14.
Steve Earle & The Dukes release their new album, ‘Ghosts Of West Virginia‘ on May 22.
Mr. Big will release a Japanese only ‘best of’ on March 25, ‘Songs 2010-2017′.
House Of Lords release their new album ’New World, New Eyes’ on May 8 via Frontiers.
Prog legends Gentle Giant are to release first four albums on vinyl on April 3rd, 2020. This follows the release in 2019 of the ‘Unburied Treasure’ box set.
Record Store Day releases include a live EP from Toto, Def Leppard, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and a 1978 live set from UFO. The event has now been postponed from April 18 to June.
In Flames has signed a deal with Nuclear Blast who will re-issue all the band’s albums.
Escape Music release the debut album by Compass called ‘Our Time On Earth’ on April 24. This is a concept album written and produced by Steve Newman.
Ann Wilson (Heart, pictured) and Blues Pills are the latest additions to Ramblin’ Man Fair in July. The second Road Rage festival takes place in Sheffield at Corporation and Trafalgar Warehouse on Saturday 28 March. On the main stage Reef are joined by The Kris Barras Band, Bad Touch, Piston, Black Whiskey and Lowdrive.
The Prognosis festival has now been moved to September 4-5.
Glastonbury has been cancelled in what was the festival’s 50th anniversary year.
Saxon’s Biff Byford has cancelled his upcoming solo tour which was due to take place during April and May. In an honest statement Biff states – “The honest truth is the tickets for the forthcoming tour have just not sold as everyone expected for whatever reason, so we have cancelled the dates as scheduled with a view to hopefully re-visiting at a later date.”
Kansas play the London Palladium on Sunday October 18 where they will be performing ‘Point of Know Return’ album in its entirety. They also release their new album ‘The Absence of Presence’ on June 26.
Genesis – the 80′s version of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford & Tony Banks – have announced they have reformed and play a series of UK & Irish dates during November and December. Phil Collins’s son Nicholas will play drums on the tour.
Candlebox are reuniting for two shows on October 2 and 3 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the band’s ‘Lucy’ album.
The Sweet have announced a UK tour for November and December.
Brian Wilson (pictured) has announced UK dates for May and June where he will be joined by Al Jardine and Blondie Chapman.
All of Whitesnake‘s previously announced touring activities, including this summer’s U.S. tour with Sammy Hagar & The Circle and Night Ranger, have been cancelled so that David Coverdale can undergo surgery for bilateral inguinal hernia.
