RICKY WARWICK - You Don’t Love Me

Ricky Warwick – ‘You Don’t Love Me’

Black Star Riders frontman Warwick has long been one of the best and most respected figures in the business. From his work with the dirty groove machine The Almighty, through to his solo work and onto BSR you always know that what you get from the Irish singer is 100% authentic and committed.

Gritty and cinematic this blue-collar hard rocker pounds and swerves in all the right places and benefits from a brilliant guest appearance from Thunder’s Luke Morley whose solo is the very epitome of blues-rock soaked class. A killer combination of talent and great writing and production, this is exactly why the world needs music, not just now but always.

Voodoo Six – ‘Never Beyond Repair’

With a critically acclaimed new album under their collective belts, things have never looked brighter for Voodoo Six. The coolest band of bad ass honchos in town, this tilts its hat to a more sensitive and emotional side of their collective character but never loses their edge.

Superb guitarwork, driving percussion and a heartbreaking vocal all combine to add up to something that shows a remarkably powerful grasp of just how to use light and shade. With years of roadwork under their belt, honing their craft and gaining the respect of Iron Maiden mainman Steve Harris, you just know you’re doing something good as a band. It’s time to get on board this train and get yourself comfortable for a long, successful and electrifying ride.
