MelodicRock Records release the following two albums on July 10th. Vindictiv release ‘World Of Fear’ and feature Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen) on vocals. Also out on the same day is Constancia’s new album ‘Final Curtain’. The band features Mikael Rosengren and guitarist Janne Stark (Overdrive/ Grand Design/Locomotive Breath).

Omar Hakim is now drumming for Journey following the arrest of Deen Castronova on assault charges.

Stone Sour start work on a new studio album next year whilst Slipknot have announced they will take a couple of years off.

Vivian Campbell has confirmed he will be able to rejoin Def Leppard following a different cancer treatment.

Rock Candy releases on 31st July are White Lion ‘Pride’, White Lion ‘Big Game‘ and Jeff Paris ‘Wired Up’.

Former Queensryche guitarist Chris DeGarmo has made a return to music by appearing on his daughter’s Rylie’s debut EP. His day job now is as a pilot.

Apple has now agreed to pay artists streaming fees for the three months free trial they are currently running for their new music streaming service. This follows an open letter by Taylor Swift critcising their previous stance of not paying artists during the free trial period.

Annihilator release their new album, ‘Suicide Society’, on September 18th via UDR Music.

Huntress release thier new album ‘Static’ on Sep 25h on Napalm Records.

Brian Wilson has cancelled his planned UK arena tour scheduled for this September. He cites ‘US commitments’ after the release of his new album. However, he plans to play a final European tour next summer to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the ‘Pet Sounds’ album.
