Multi award-winning family-friendly festival, Bearded Theory have announced that the festival has completely sold out of tickets in every category.
Tickets are no longer available through any physical or online outlet, and organisers are urging anyone without a ticket not to travel to the festival, as none will be available at the gates.
In its ninth year, Bearded Theory Festival takes place between Thursday 26th and Sunday 29th May 2016 in the grounds of South Derbyshire’s Catton Hall.
Friday night’s headliners are the legendary folk rockers Levellers, returning to Bearded Theory after their triumphant performance closing the festival in 2013.
Saturday night’s headliners Public Image Ltd feature legendary frontman John Lydon and a back catalogue that includes classics such as ‘Death Disco’, ‘Public Image’ and ‘This Is Not A Love Song’.
Double Grammy Award-winning hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development headline the Pallet Stage on Sunday night.
Amongst the other acts appearing over four days and five stages, Squeeze, Terrorvision and Wilko Johnson.
The festival also hosts a range of smaller stages and zones, including an extensive Crafts & Healing ‘Earth Area’ and The Something’ Else Tea Tent. The Convoy Cabaret will be bringing some mad cabaret along with comedy sides shows, punk hairdressers and a tattoo parlour.
Hot on the heels of the Bearded Theory event, the Acoustic Festival of Britain takes place at Uttoxeter Racecourse, Staffordshire, 3-5 June.
Amongst the acts appearing this year, Midge Ure, King King and The Blockheads together with singer-songwriters Dean Friedman, Nell Bryden and Judie Tzuke.
This established, family friendly festival – now in its tenth year – takes place across four stages, and includes various workshops, comedy and sideshow events.
