InsideOut Music are extremely pleased to announce the signing of rising young prog-upstarts Maschine to the roster. This continues a relationship with band-leader Luke Machin and bass-player Dan Mashal that started with their time in The Tangent.
Having developed Maschine from its time under the name Concrete Lake, and on the way secured the top spot in Prog Magazine’s Best Unsigned Band Poll, as well as play numerous gigs and festivals, InsideOut is proud to be releasing the bands debut full length next year. Label head Thomas Waber had this to say about the signing: “Luke and his band are a really young and talented bunch. We are looking forward to working with them on their debut album!”
Lead guitarist and vocalist Luke Machin made this comment on joining the label: “Since I can remember I’ve always played the guitar and composed music. To have the amazing credibility that comes with IO to assist our music is extremely exciting. The inspiration that I’ve taken from many artists over the years, a lot of whom are with IO, I’m certain this album will have something for everyone.”
Drummer Doug Hamer added: ‘The thing that really excites me about signing to IO is that the label is interested in our music and our band. The vote of confidence is invaluable. We will work tirelessly to bring the vision of Maschine that we and IO share into reality.’
Look out for Maschine’s debut album next year on InsideOut Music!
