News: William Control to produce Fearless Vampire Killers second album

Fearless Vampire Killers are pleased to announce that they are about to embark on the recording of their second full-length album. The follow up to their 2012 debut, Militia Of The Lost, will see Aiden frontman, and great of the modern Gothic scene, William Control at the helm in the role of producer.

I am so very pleased to have been asked to work on this record.” Says William Control about the project. He continues, “I only get involved in projects that I am truly excited about and I have to be inspired by the artist or band I’m working with.  My goal is to help Fearless Vampire Killers create an album that people care about, that people can relate with, and most importantly, that boys and girls across the globe can sing along to.”

Fearless Vampire Killers

Having spent the past few months holed up in the wilds of Suffolk writing new material, Fearless Vampire Killers will head over to the US later next month to begin the recording process at Wil’s new studio in his hometown of Seattle.

But what can fans expect of album number two? Kier Kemp advised that, The writing process is very new this time. We’ve really been getting absorbed in it, each band member has been very involved!’ And on the conceptual side, he had this to say, ‘This will be the second, more insane instalment in the Grandomina story. This album is going to be FVK turned up to 11, smashing your (back) doors in and filling you full of magic. It’s going to be like Disney meets Coheed and Cambria!

It’s been just over a year since the release of the band’s heavily conceptual debut album, and in that short space of time they have achieved so much – multiple Kerrang! Award nominations, speaking out nationally against Xenophobia and hate-crimes, touring with some of the biggest rock bands around and building one of the UKs most passionate fanbases (AKA The Lost Hearts). – FVK hope that this new album will cement their status as one of the best new British bands around and will allow them to finally breakout of the underground and into the mainstream.

This is a sentiment which is echoed by William Control, who finishes,We are going to make the best fucking album anyone has ever heard.  By this time next year, Fearless Vampire Killers will be a household name. You better jump on the wagon, or get left in the dust.”
