MAGENTA In Session for GRTR!

Assume The Position
Sunday 3 November 2013, 22:00

As part of the In Session series for Get Ready to ROCK! Radio, influential, award-winning, prog-rockers MAGENTA have provided an exclusive acoustic session.

Featuring tracks from their new album ‘The Twenty Seven Club’ which was described by GRTR!’s Alan Jones as “…up there with the best work the band have ever produced, and, for me anyway, an absolute shoo-in for one of the best albums of the year.”

The band formed in 1999 after vocalist Christina Booth and keyboard player Rob Reed had worked together in the bands Cyan and Trippa.  They were joined by guitarist Chris Fry for their debut album ‘Revolutions’ and he has remained with the band ever since.

Also on Sunday 3 November, at 18:00, we replay our 2012 interview with Rob Reed talking about the band and with tracks from their previous albums.
