RIP – Toto’s Mike Porcaro who had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. He was bass player in Toto between 1982–2008/2010–2015. In recent years he did not tour due to his illness and the band reformed in 2010 to help raise funds for his ongoing medical treatment.
Gong’s Daevid Allen has passed away shortly after announcing he had six months to live.
Iggy Pop will present a weekly show on Friday nights on BBC6 Music.

Sammy Hagar will release a live recording with his new band the Circle, featuring Jason Bonham and former Van Halen/Chickenfoot member Michael Anthony. It is called ‘At Your Service’ and is released on May 19th.
