Single review: DEAD AGENTS – Aimless Careless

DEAD AGENTS - Aimless Careless

Facebook [Release date 22.03.19]

The West Midlands based the Dead Agents first came across our musical radar last year with their debut EP. That was a good mix of punchy hard rock and modern rock, recalling bands like You Me At Six and the Foo Fighters. They have been nominated at this year’s Birmingham Music Awards for Best Video with their track “Haters”. Along with a series of live shows they are steadily building a name for themselves.

Now they are set to tackle 2019 with new songs, the first of which is this insanely catchy beast of a tune ‘Aimless Careless’. A song based around someone who has the world at their feet but throws it all away. Dead Agents have that spark in their music to make the listener sit up and take notice, be it the vocals of David Foster, the backing vocals on the chorus or the guitar fury that is Adam Beddow.

Now I am an aging rocker, possibly not the target market for Dead Agents, however take it form me they have a massive tune on their hands here. One made for playing live and the Dead Agents are a band to keep a close eye on this year and beyond. ****
