Alcatrazz guitarist Joe Stump’s new solo instrumental record, ‘Diabolical Ferocity’, is due to be released on September 17 through Lion Music.

Barclay James Harvest’s 1975 album, ‘Time Honoured Ghosts’, will be reissued in remastered and expanded form by Esoteric Recordings on September 24.

Blind Guardian have completed work on their new album.

Billy Bragg releases his new album ‘The Million Things That Never Happened’ on October 8.

Cats In Space release ‘Diamonds – The Best Of’ on September 10. This will feature reworked versions of the band’s songs featuring vocalist Damien Edwards.

Daughtry release their latest album ‘Dearly Beloved’ on September 17.

Eclipse release their latest album ‘Wired’ on Frontiers on October 8.

Enuff Z’Nuff release a 3CD/4LP box set ‘Never Enuff – Rarities & Demos’ on Cleopatra Records on August 27. It features recordings made by the band prior to their major label debut on Atlantic Records in 1989.

Envy Of None features Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and Coney Hatch bassist Andy Curran. The pair have recorded an album with a release date to be announced shortly.

The Faces – Rod Stewart, Kenny Jones & Ronnie Wood – have recently been recording new music according to a recent interview with Ronnie Wood by Music News.

Chris Farren ‘In So Many Words’, a double CD of unreleased songs, is due on August 13 via MelodicRock Classics.

The Georgia Thunderbolts release their debut album, ‘Can We Get A Witness’, on Mascot Records on October 15.

Helloween’s Michael Kiske is working on a solo album for release next year.

Hookers & Blow, featuring guitarist Alex Grossi (Quiet Riot, Beautiful Creatures) and keyboardist Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses, The Dead Daisies), will be releasing their debut album via Golden Robot Records via digital basis on July 23 and CD/LP on August 13.

Hurricane are working on a new album for release later this year.

Inglorious (pictured) release a covers album ‘Heroine’ on September 10 via Frontiers. It features 11 covers of tracks by female artists who Inglorious respect and admire.

Iron Maiden release their seventeenth studio album entitled ‘Senjutsu’ on September 3.

Jethro Tull have signed with Inside Out who will release the band’s new album, ‘The Zealot Gene’, early next year.

Former Yes keyboards player Tony Kaye will release his first ever solo album, ‘End Of Innocence, through Spirit Of Unicorn Music on September 10.

KK Priest’s debut album has been delayed until October.

Marillion release deluxe CD and vinyl versions of their 1984 album ‘Fugazi’ on September 10.

Bernie Marsden releases his latest solo album, ‘Kings’, on July 23 through Conquest Music. On the album he musical homage to three of his blues heroes – Albert King, B.B. King and Freddie King.

Ministry release their latest album ‘Moral Hygiene’ on October 1 through Nuclear Blast.

XTC’s Colin Moulding releases a new single, ‘The Hardest Battle’, via Burning Shed on July 2.

Primal Fear are currently writing for their next album.

Queen’s 40th anniversary edtion of their ‘Greatest Hits’ reached number 2 in the UK albums charts w/e 9 July.

This month’s Womad festival has been postponed until next year.

Over half of the UK’s festivals due this summer have now either been cancelled or postponed until 2022.

Brian Blessed will make a special guest appearance at this year’s Bloodstock festival.

Steelhouse festival has been given the go ahead. The festival takes place between 23-25 July and features the Darkness, Bernie Marsden, the Wildhearts, and more. Due to coronavirus restrictions Uriah Heep replace Sunday night’s headliners Europe and Stone Broken replace H.E.A.T.

The Night Flight Orchestra have been replaced by Lawnmower Deth as Thursday night’s headliner at Bloodstock.

Ramblin’ Man Fair will return next July under new management as the previous ones, Spirit Of Rock, have gone into liquidation.

Bearded Theory festival, which was postponed to September this year, has now been cancelled and will return next May.
