Stoner/ Space rock all the way from Germany is what we have on offer here. This is the band’s second album following their self-titled debut released back in 2010. Veering from Queens Of The Stone Age to Hawkwind via Sabbath, Cathedral and vocals with a Max Cavalera edge this is a heavy and dirty journey across the universe.

With titles like ‘Startrooper’, ‘Sun v’s Moon’ and ‘Night Over Qo Nos’ the trip with BSR was always going to be a cosmic one. There are some psychedelic moments but mostly you get bass heavy, doom laden riffs that are so big they should be visible from space. A good example of this is the duo of ‘Diggin’ Down’ and ‘I Am Fire’ which both have riffs so large they have their own gravitational pull !

If you like your rock fuzzy, scuzzy and spaced out then this one is for you.
