Legendary engineer and producer Alan Parsons makes a rare appearance in London on Wednesday 18 March at Shepherd’s Bush Empire with The Alan Parsons Live Project.

Billed as a “greatest hits” set, the band will be performing songs including ‘Old And Wise’, ‘Don’t Answer Me’, ‘Sirius’, ‘Eye In The Sky’, ‘Time’, ‘Damned If I Do’, ‘I Wouldn’t Want To Be Like You’, ‘Games People Play’, the entire ‘Turn Of A Friendly Card’ suite and more.

In a special feature on Get Ready to ROCK! Radio, Sunday 8 February at 22:00, Alan talks to David Randall about his career that started when he was tape op for The Beatles in the late-sixties.  He is perhaps best known – in a production context – for his work on Pink Floyd’s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’.

He formed The Alan Parsons Project in 1975 with his then manager, the late Eric Woolfson, and they made a conscious decision to remain a recording rather than a touring band.  However, they went on to achieve great success with ten successive albums and several topping a million sales in the USA.

In the mid-1990s, Alan did finally venture out “on the road” bringing his music to a wider audience.  He’s only ever performed in London once previously so this forthcoming gig is a very rare opportunity to savour the music of one of progressive rock’s sonic pioneers.
