Get Ready to ROCK! Radio favourite Eleanor McEvoy is featured on Sunday 24 January, ahead of the release of her latest album ‘Naked Music’ (17:00 GMT).
The radio station is replaying their 2009 interview when Eleanor chatted about her career and including songs such as ‘Only A Woman’s Heart’ which brought her to wider attention in 1992.
The Irish singer songwriter releases her latest album on 5 February – ‘Naked Music’ – which includes re-workings and new material. She launches the album at the Gallery Different, London on 28 January where there is an exhibition of artist Chris Gollon who supplies the album imagery.

Also on Sunday 24 January (19:00 GMT) Pete Feenstra chats to JD Simo ahead of the release of his band’s new album ‘Let Love Show The Way’. Simo was recommended to the Provogue label by blues rock giant Joe Bonamassa and in November 2015 supported Walter Trout on UK tour dates.
One of the station’s regular shows – ‘Assume The Position’ (22:00 GMT) – pays tribute to Dale Griffin (Mott The Hoople) who died recently and previews the new Magnum album released in late-February.

On Sunday 31 January, Get Ready to ROCK! radio replays its 2012 interview/feature when Robb Weir of Tygers Of Pan Tang chatted about the band’s history. The Tygers are currently recording a new studio album, whilst on 5 February Angel Air Records reissue the band’s “lost” 2003 album ‘Noises From The Cathouse’.
