In 2011, during rehearsals for their winter UK tour, David Randall asked Bob Catley and Tony Clarkin about the rise of Magnum, discussing the early days, their reformation in the Millennium and upward trajectory during the past decade.
On Sunday 7 February (at 17:00 GMT) Get Ready to ROCK! Radio replays a special hour-long feature about Magnum.
The band have long been favourites at Get Ready to ROCK! and their progress since 2001 is paralleled by the development of the review-based website. To acknowledge their own 40th anniversary, and the website’s 10th anniversary, in 2012 Magnum were made “GRTR! Ambassadors” culminating in a year of special promotion and features about the band.
On 26 February Magnum release their latest album – ‘Sacred Blood “Divine” Lies” – via SPV. They tour in Europe from 19 April (UK from 11 May).
