GRTR! favourites Panic Room have announced the launch of a PledgeMusic campaign to film their first live DVD this June at Islington Assembly Hall, London.
The gig will take place on Saturday 18 June and the band have teamed up with film makers Toward Infinity who have worked with the likes of Deep Purple, Elton John and Marillion.
The band have set an ambitious target to raise £25,000 and have put together a range of items that fans can pledge for. This includes the DVD itself, exclusive photo booklets, commemorative T-Shirts and signed handwritten setlists plus a Collector’s Edition that will feature bonus content and an audio CD of show highlights. The 32 page colour booklet, signed by the band, will feature those who have pledged in the credits.
And this weekend, 21-22 May, the band promote their own weekend of musical celebration at the Robin 2 in Bilston, West Midlands. Over two days, artists include Halo Blind and Kiama (Rob Reed) as well as Panic Room and offshoot Luna Rossa, and the Dave Foster Band.
In addition to the Islington gig, Panic Room also play several dates in June:
11 June Southampton, Talking Heads
12 June Cambridge Junction
23 June Bristol Fleece & Firkin
24 June Worcester Marrs Bar
25 June St Helens Citadel
And on Sunday 15 May in his weekly radio show for Get Ready to ROCK! Radio, David Randall previews some of the artists appearing at the weekend event.
