w/c 10 June, Get Ready to ROCK! Radio replays two archive shows featuring Magnum. On Monday 10 June at 16:00 GMT “Vintage Rare Magnum” features rare tracks from the band. This sequence, originally broadcast to tie in with the band’s 40th anniversary in 2012, is repeated on Thursday 13 June following a 2011 interview with Bob Catley and Tony Clarkin (22:00 GMT).
Melodic pomp rockers Magnum play UK dates in June, during which time they will also appear at the prestigious Sweden Rock festival and Rock Hard festival in Germany.
The band’s current studio album was released in January 2018 via SPV - ‘Lost On The Road To Eternity’ – and described by Get Ready to ROCK!: “Forty years after their album debut … an absolute triumph.”
The band followed this with their latest live album ‘Live At The Symphony Hall’, recorded in April 2018. Get Ready to ROCK! wrote: “With Lee Morris and Rick Benton now firmly embedded we’ve noted before the band have been given another new breath of life. This rejuvenation is also evident in the rendering of the time-worn core setlist.”
