Cancer On The Rocks, a two day festival in aid of Macmillan and The Royal Marsden Hospital, takes place for the first time this year in London at Bush Hall, 23/24 November.
The brainchild of Skyfire Records’ Rick Palin, it has previously been successfully staged in the North of England.
Explaining the reason behind the event Rick Palin said “Macmillan and The Royal Marsden do an incredible job. I know first-hand from the support they gave my own family. I wanted to give something back. The Royal Marsden is equally important as they are on the cutting edge of research and treatment. But Cancer On The Rocks is not just about fund raising it is about celebrating life too. And what better medium to celebrate life with than music.”
Joining headliners Romeo’s Daughter (pictured) on the Saturday are upcoming rockers Collateral (recently toured with Jon Bon Jovi), Weapon UK, Gypsy’s Kiss and Blurred Vision.
Sunday’s bill comprises Piston (recently toured with The Cult), Joanovarc, Superfecta, Wily Bo Walker, Asif Outlaws, Lol Goodman and Found Missing.
Topping the Sunday Night will be the award winning Never The Bride and Ali Maas + Mickey Moody (Whitesnake).
Tickets are on sale now at www.cancerontherocks.co.uk priced £30/Saturday and £30/Sunday, weekend tickets are £45.
Tickets available from the shop on www.cancerontherocks.co.uk
