The Fort Records [Release date 19.06.20]
Dead Reynolds have already released one EP prior to this one, plus have gained airplay on the likes of Kerrang! Radio and our very own GRTR! Radio. Live wise they have supported the likes of Deaf Havana and Mallory Knox.
Dead Reynold’s line-up consists of vocalist Callum Van Wolfe Waterfield, guitarist Dom Greenwood, lead guitarist Luke Reid, bassist Ben Knowles and drummer Luke Green.
Four songs and each one packs an energetic punch of alt rock. ‘By Your Side’ features a harmony filled chorus, backed by furious guitar riffing, whilst ‘PS (I Loathe You)’ is a brash, three minute burst of rock. Serious riffing and a bit of screamo on ‘Bright Lights’. Lines’ is a proper mosh pit (not sure of the youngsters still have these?) anthem, a belter of a tune to end the EP on.
Impressive set of tunes and here’s hoping the live scene returns soon as Dead Reynolds are a band that need to be seen playing live. ****
