This refreshingly ‘80’s inspired slab of keyboard heavy melodic rock would have been all over the radio in years gone by, but for now bands like All I Know are keeping the light flickering for legions of music fans worldwide.
All I know are not a new band, as this 4-track EP is the follow up to 2008’s “Vanity Kills” album, but do now come as a 6 piece line-up. The band’s sound has all those essential ‘80’s elements – keyboards, great guitar hooks, big choruses and bigger drums. There are echoes of the Scorpions in “(I Can’t Get You) Out of My Head”, but also a sound reminiscent of Europe’s “Prisoners In Paradise” album throughout, in particular on tracks ”As Long As The Night Goes On” and “Hidin’ From Love”, fans of Stage Dolls will also find something to enjoy here.
