King Crimson release a 26-disc set, ‘The Complete 1969 Recordings’, through Panegyric on October 23. It features a brand new Dolby Atmos mix by Steven Wilson of the band’s 1969 debut album ‘In The Court of the Crimson King’, and includes 6 CDs’ worth of session material on CD & Blu-Ray for the first time.
Broken Teeth plan to release a live CD/DVD entitled ‘Evil In The Queue‘ later this year.
Neil Young (pictured above) releases a digital only EP ‘The Times’ through Amazon Music on September 18.
Former Black Sabbath singer Tony Martin’s solo album will be called ‘Thorns’ and released by Dark Star Records (Americas) and Battlegod Productions (ROTW).
John 5 And The Creatures release ‘Live Invasion’ on CD & DVD on September 4.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Chrysalis Records are reissuing Ultravox’s ‘Vienna’ on October 9 as a six-disc set featuring the original album, a 2020 Steven Wilson Stereo Mix, rarities, and a live concert from St. Albans. The box will also feature new sleevenotes by all four band members.
Sanctuary will release a 30th anniversary edition of ‘Into The Mirror Black’ on October 9.

WinterStorm at Troon has moved to 26/27 November 2021. The full line-up will be announced at the end of January.
Glastonbury is still scheduled to go ahead in June next year, despite some reports saying an autumn date was being considered.

Neil Peart will be honoured with a tribute concert featuring Mike Portnoy, Carl Palmer, Stewart Copeland, Taylor Hawkins, Chad Smith and more. The tribute event, which is part of this year’s Modern Drummer Festival, will stream live at midnight UK time Saturday 12 September (8pm EST) and will be hosted by LiveXLive Media. The concert will be available to view until December.
Around 64% of professional musicians are thinking of quitting music as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a new survey carried out by British booking organization Encore Musicians. It concluded that artists had lost an average of £11,300 in income each with 87% fewer gigs booked for Aug – Dec 2020 than same period in 2019.
