Rammstein (pictured) have been working on a new studio album during the current lockdown. No news as yet on a release date, title, etc.
Alice Cooper has already announced plans for his next album. It will be recorded by his current band and recorded on the road, with the album’s concept about stories from being on the road.
Angel are preparing to enter the studio to begin recording their latest album, to be released on Cleopatra Records.
Candlebox will release their seventh album, ‘Wolves’, on September 17 via Pavement Entertainment.
Gilby Clarke releases his latest album, ‘The Gospel Truth’, on Golden Robot Records on April 23.
The Damn Truth will release their third studio album ‘Now or Nowhere’ (two thirds of which was recorded with producer Bob Rock) on 7 May via Spectra Musique/Sony Music.
Danko Jones release their new album ‘Power Trio’ on August 27.
Darwin release ‘Darwin 3 – Unplugged’ on April 16.
Rebecca Downes releases fourth studio album, ‘Stripped Back’, on her own label, Mad Hat Records on 9 April.

Download festival has been cancelled for this year but will return next year between 10-12 June 2022, with headliners KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro.
Isle of Wight festival has been moved from Jume to September 16-19.
This year’s planned Cambridge Folk Festival in July has been cancelled but will return next year.
Hyde Park Calling has been postponed from July 2021 to July 2022. Pearl Jam and Duran Duran will remain as the headliners.
Cambridge Rock Festival has been postponed to June 2022.
The one day StoneDead festival in August has now sold out.
In the US Texas has opened all concert venues with no limits on numbers, whilst New York music venues will be able to open from April at a third of their normal capacity.
With live music in lockdown and the return of tours still uncertain, Queen have come up with a safe alternative – ‘Queen: Rock Tour’, the band’s first ever official game for Android and iOS devices.
GRTR! reviewer Iain McGonigal project managed the Steve Marriott cover CD on April’s Mojo magazine. Iain pulled the tracks together at the request of Charly Record’s CEO, as well as fact checking where necessary.
Original Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward is currently writing his memoir. He also revealed in a recent interview that although he felt he couldn’t play live anymore with Sabbath he would still like to record with the oginal line-up.
