Asking Alexandria have signed with Better Noise Music and have already started work on new music.

Barenaked Ladies release their latest album ’Detour de Force’ on July 16.

The Beach Boys will release a new five-CD box set, ‘Feel Flows — The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971′, on July 30.

Eric Bibb releases his latest album ‘Dear America’ on September 16 via Mascot Provogue.

Blood Red Saints release their new album ‘Undisputed’ On August 6 on Frontiers.

Escape Music release the new album by Doug Brons called ‘Pull’ on August 13.

Lindsey Buckingham releases his self-titled album on September 17 on Reprise.

Caravan have announced they will release a  37-disc deluxe box set, ‘Who Do We Think We Are?’, on August 20 through Madfish Records.

Eric Clapton’s eponymous first solo album, originally released in August 1970,  is being reissued on 4CD and LP on August 20 on UMC/Polydor.

The Darkness release their new album ‘Motorheart’ on October 15 via Cooking Vinyl.

Dirkschneider & The Old Gang issue a three-track EP ‘Arising’ on August 27 through AFM Records

District 97 vocalist Leslie Hunt will release a brand new EP, ‘Ascend’, through Spirit Of Unicorn Records on June 25.

Frost* will release their first two albums, Milliontown’ and ‘Experiments In Mass Appeal’, on vinyl for the very first time. Both albums will be available as 180g vinyl through InsideOut on July 9.

Gus G  (pictured above) has completed work on his first all instrumental album and a release date has yet TBC.

Steve Hackett releases his new album, ‘Surrender Of Silence’, on September 10 via InsideOut Music.

A new George Harrison box set will be released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of ‘All Things Must Pass’ on August 6 via Capitol/UMe.

Helloween’s latest album has topped the German album charts, a first for the band in their home country.

Steve Howe is to release ‘Homebrew 7′ on July 30 via HoweSound.

Rock Candy re-issue four Donnie Iris albums  – ‘King Cool’, ‘Fortune 410′, ‘Back On The Street’ & ‘The High & the Mighty’ – on June 25.

Jagged Edge’s debut EP ‘Trouble’ and debut full-length album ‘Fuel For Your Soul’ will be getting reissued as a double CD with bonus tracks on Bad Reputation in July.

Robert Jon & the Wreck release their latest album ‘Shine a Light on Me Brother’ on September 3. The album’s title track was released as a single on June 25.

John Mayer releases his new solo album, ‘Sob Rock’, on July 16.

Midnight Oil will launch their new album – their first since 2002 – at the Bluesfest, Byron Events Farm, Australia on October 1.

Neal Morse Band release of their fourth studio album ‘Innocence & Danger’ on the 27 August via Inside Out.

Nitrate release their third album ‘Renegade’ on July 30 via AOR Heaven. Vocalist on this album is Art Nation’s Alexander Strandell.

Christian rockers Petra’s albums More Power To Ya’ (1982), ‘Beat The System’ (1984) and ‘This Means War!’ (1987) have been remastered and are available for pre-order via Girder Music.

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss release their second collaborative album later this year.

Public Service Broadcasting release their fourth studio album, ‘Bright Magic’,  on September 24 via Play It Again Sam.

Queen release cassette and CD versions of their ‘Greatest Hits’ album on July 2, celebrating the 40th anniversary of its release.

Quiet Riot plan to release new music in 2022.

Sodom release a three-song EP ‘Bombenhagel’ on August 20 via SPV/Steamhammer.

Sparks have released a new track ‘So May We Start’, featuring vocals from Marion Cotillard, Adam Driver and Simon Helberg. It’s the first song to emerge from the new musical film ‘Annette’, directed by Leos Carax, who co-wrote the script with Sparks’ Ron and Russell Mael.

Stryper will begin recording their next album in January. Vocalist Michael Sweet has completed his first worship album with a release date TBC.

Queen’s Roger Taylor releases his new solo album ’Outsider’ on October 1.

The Comeback Special’ by The The is a new multi-format release out on 1 October which documents their Royal Albert Hall concert from 5 June 2018.

Thin Lizzy’s ‘Greatest Hits’ is issued on vinyl on July 30 by UMC.

TIM’s album will finally see the light of day on July 16 via reissue label MelodicRock Classics on CD (1000 units) and digital. The album was originally recorded in 1983 and the band’s line-up featured Thom Griffin (Trillion) and Bruce Gaitsch. The same label releases the debut album by Platforms earlier that same month on July 2.

Toto guitarist Steve Lukather has stated in a recent interview there will be no new albums from the band.

Devin Townsend releases his latest album, ‘Lightwork’, early next year and has announced European tour dates for next March and April.

Van der Graaf Generator release a box set ‘The Charisma Years’ on September 3 which includes 17 CDs, 3 Blu-rays and features everything recorded for the Charisma label, plus rarities.

Wayward Sons release their latest album, ‘Even Up the Score’, on October 8 via Frontiers. A new single, ‘Faith In Fools’ is out now.

Sami Yaffa (New York DollsMichael Monroe Band, Hanoi Rocks) has announced the release of his first solo album, ‘The Innermost Journey to Your Outermost Mind‘, out on September 22. The first single ‘The Last Time‘ will be released on June 11 via Livewire/Cargo Records.

Neil Young has confirmed a new Crazy Horse album is underway.

UK Festivals 2021

Green Day, Muse and Volbeat set to headline Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2022

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Enter Shikari and Bullet For My Valentine have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Download Festival pilot at Donington Park from June 18-20. Other bands appearing include Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, While She Sleeps, Neck Deep, Boston Manor, Twin Atlantic and Skindred.

Coachella festival will return in April next year.

Crowded House will appear at next year’s Glastonbury festival.

Black Deer Festival has been postponed to next June following the recent UK government announcement on extending current restrictions.

July’s Kendal Calling and Truck, along with August’s Cropredy festivals have all been postponed until next summer.

Bob Dylan has announced a livestream show on July 20.

Other Stuff

‘The Beatles and India’ is a historical chronicle of the band’s deep and influential relationship with the country that has existed for over 50 years. It will premiere in the UK on June 6 as part of the Tongues On Fire UK Asian Film Festival ahead of a full release in autumn.

Roger Waters plans to publish his memoir this autumn.

Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons have announced that they will be parting ways with vocalist Neil Starr.
