Aerosmith and Yungblud have teamed up for a new song entitled ‘My Only Angel’. It is the band’s first music in over a decade. They release an five song EP ‘One More Time’ on November 21 which features ‘My Only Angel’, ‘Problems’, ‘Wild Woman’ and ‘A Thousand Days’, along with a new remix of ‘Back in the Saddle’.

Agnostic Front release their new album ‘Echoes In Eternity’ through Reigning Phoenix Music on November 7.

Arch Enemy release ‘Blood Dynasty (Deluxe Edition)’ on October 10 on Century Media Records.

Armored Saint will release their new album in April through Metal Blade Records.

Avatar will release their tenth studio album, ‘Don’t Go In The Forest’, on October 31.

Elles Bailey releases her latest album ‘Can’t Take My Story Away’ on January16 via Cooking Vinyl & Outlaw Music.

The Black Crowes have announced a super deluxe box set of their third album, ‘Amorica’, due out on November 14.

Black Stone Cherry will release a EP, ’Celebrate’, digitally on March 6 via Mascot Records. The EP’s first single ‘Neon Eyes’ is out now.

Blackberry Smoke release ‘Rattle, Ramble and Roll: The Best of Blackberry Smoke – Volume One’ on November 14 via the band’s 3 Legged Records.

Bloodbound release their new album ‘Field Of Swords’ on November 21, their first for Napalm Records.

Bon Jovi will release ‘Forever (Legendary Edition)’ on October 24 via Island Records. The album include guests appearances on vocals by Bruce Springsteen, Jelly Roll, James Bay, Robbie Williams, Jason Isbell, Ryan Tedder, Joe Elliott, Avril Lavigne and Marcus King.

Buckcherry‘s fourth studio album ‘Black Butterfly’ will be reissued on CD with five bonus tracks, and for the first time on vinyl outside the US, via Earache Records on November 28.

Kate Bush will release a new compilation, ‘Best Of The Other Sides’, through her Fish People label, as a digital release on September 26, and on coloured vinyl and CD on October 31.

The Cars release a deluxe edition of their 1984 album, ‘Heartbeat City’, for its 40th anniversary, which took place last year, on October 31. The reissue includes remixes, alternate versions and a full live show from September 1984.

Coney Hatch reissue their self-titled debut album via Anthem Records on October 24. It has bene remastered by Harem Scarem’s Harry Hess.

Big Big Train drummer Nick D’Virgilio will reissue a remastered update of his reimagined version of the 1974 Genesis album ‘The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway’ through English Electric Recordings on November 28.

The Darker My Horizon release a tenth anniversary Special Edition of their debut album ‘Acquiesce’ on September 23. It will be released on vinyl for the first time and features a brand new song as a bonus track.

Death Dealer will release their latest album ‘Reign Of Steel’ in early 2026 via Massacre Records.

Def Leppard plan to release a couple of new songs before their summer tour next year, with a studio album to follow later in 2026 or the early part of 2027.

Dream Theater release ‘Quarantième: Live à Paris’ through InsideOut Music/Sony Music on November 28.

Drive-By Truckers will release ‘The Definitive Decoration Day‘ on November 14 from New West Records as a 4LP box set.

Five Finger Death Punch release ‘Best Of – Volume 2′ on October 24.

Gorillaz release their new studio album The Mountain’ on March 20. The first single ‘The Happy Dictator’, featuring Sparks, was released on September 11.

The Hara release their new album ‘The Fallout’ on January 23 via Mascot Records.

Heavy Pettin release a new album entitled ‘Rock Generation’ through Silver Lining Music on October 24.

Hell In The Club release their seventh studio album ‘Joker In The Pack’ on November 7 via Frontiers.

Experience Hendrix/Legacy Recordings will release a boxset on November 7 containing The Jimi Hendrix Experience’s album ‘Axis: Bold As Love’ in stereo, mono and Atmos formats, along with 40 bonus studio and live tracks, 28 of which are previously unreleased.

Howl Owl Howl is a new group featuring Hootie & the Blowfish’s Darius Rucker, REM co-founder Mike Mills and Steve Gorman of the Black Crowes. They will release their debut song, ‘My Cologne’, on October 31.

UMR will release a 50th anniversary edition of Elton John’s ‘Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy’ as a 2-LP, 2-CD and digital formats on October 24.

Chez Kane releases her new studio album ‘Reckless’ on March 27, 2026 via Frontiers Music.

Dr Feelgood vocalist Robert Kane releases his first ever solo album ‘Blues Is Blues’ via Conquest Music September 26.

A 50th anniversary edition of Little Feat’s album ‘The Last Record Album’ will be released on October 24 as a 4CD set.

Riverside’s Mariusz Duda has announced that his Lunatic Soul project will release their latest album, ‘The World Under Unsun’, through InsideOut Music on October 31.

Magnum will release a new studio album next year. Every track on the upcoming album was written and performed by Tony Clarkin, who passed away in 2024, with the material curated from the band’s archives by his daughter, Dionne Clarkin.

Mattador have signed with Frontiers, who will release the band’s new album and have re-issued their 1994 album ‘Save Us From Ourselves’ digitally.

Midlake release their sixth studio album, ‘A Bridge To Far’, on November 7 via Bella Union.

Neal Morse releases two albums on October 31. The first is a singer songwriter album ‘Never Been Down This Road’ and the second release is ‘Morsefest 2024’.

Mike Oldfield’s ‘Amarok’ gets a new remastered reissue to mark its 35t anniversary. It will be released as a double-vinyl, half-speed remaster through UMC on October 31.

Cassidy Paris releases her new album ‘Bittersweet’ through Frontiers on November 21.

Pink Floyd will release ‘Wish You Were Here 50′ on various formats on December 12.

Queen release a 50th anniversary edition of their album ‘A Night At The Opera’ on crystal clear vinyl with gold labels on October 18 in UK (as part of National Album Day) and October 17 in the rest of the world. Also, on October 31 a special 50th anniversary edition of the ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ single is released on vinyl.

Power Quest are reforming for next year’s Warriors of Steel festival on May 29, 2026 in Ålesund, Norway. The line-up will be Alessio Garavello, Steve Williams, Andy Martongelli, Steve Scott & Francesco Tresca.

Twisted Sister have announced they are to reunite next year for live dates to mark the band’s 50th anniversary. The line-up features original members Dee Snider and guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, who will be joined by bassist Russell Pzutto and drummer Joe Franco.

Tour updates & postponed/cancelled gigs & tours:

Phil Campbell and The Bastard Sons have postponed their upcoming Australian tour to March 2026.

Dave Mason has announced his retirement from live shows having previously cancelled his planned US summer dates earlier this year. He has a children’s book in the works and plans to release a set of unreleased recordings from his 60-year live career.

Michael Monroe has pulled out of an upcoming US tour supporting Buckcherry as he undergoes knee surgery. Nashville Pussy take his place on the tour.

Sex Pistols and Frank Carter have cancelled their upcoming US tour due to Steve Jones’s broken wrist.

Other Stuff

Triumph will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Apple Music is making its six radio stations available via the TuneIn platform. It’s the first time the Apple radio stations have been available outside their own apps.

The US Customs and Border Protection has confirmed that vinyl records, CDs and cassettes will be exempt from tariff adjustments in the US. However, merchandise such as posters or t-shirts will be subject to the new tariffs.

Spotify has finally launched lossless audio for its premium subscribers. Spotify had been trailing lossless for over five years prior to this announcement.

Depeche Mode: M is set to screen globally during a limited cinematic release beginning on October 28.

Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home will now be shown on BBC One and iPlayer at 9pm on Thursday October 2. There is also a two-hour documentary film called Ozzy: No Escape From Now which will premiere on Paramount+ in the UK and internationally on October 7.

The Poodles have announced via Facebook they will return in 2026.

Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons have parted ways with vocalist Joel Peters.

Hannes Braun is stepping down as vocalist for Kissin’ Dynamite, although he will still be involved in writing and production with the band.

Guitarist Uwe Lulis has left Accept as the band return to a two guitar line-up.
