Marillion frontman Steve Hogarth has recently published the first volume of his diaries, covering the years 1991-1997.  This was a fascinating period in Steve’s and Marillion’s history as the singer made the band his own after the departure of Fish in 1988.  Signed to EMI until 1995 they released four studio albums and constantly toured and promoted.

Steve Hogarth’s book reflects life on (and off) the road and will be of great interest to Marillion fans but also to anyone seeking a closer appreciation of the charismatic frontman, and band in the 1990s.

GRTR!’s David Randall recently chatted to Steve about the book and the band in general and this forms the basis of an hour special on Get Ready to ROCK! Radio with tracks from Steve’s solo and band career including the recent release, ‘A Sunday Night Above The Rain’.
