2019′s Giants Of Rock takes place at Butlins in Minehead, Somerset, 25-28 January.

Amongst the bands appearing at the event, in its fifth consecutive year, Skid Row, Roger Chapman’s Family & Friends, and Sweet.

As usual there is an excellent variety of bands covering various genres.  From hard rock/metal (Skid Row, U.D.O. Oliver Dawson Saxon), blues rock (Martin Barre (pictured), Eric Bell, Rob Tognoni), melodic rock (FM, H.E.A.T., Dare, Vega) to prog (Focus, Atomic Rooster).

An “introducing” stage features new and upcoming bands who fight for a chance to appear on the main stage the following year.  This year’s winners included Departed and Black Whiskey.

Prices start at £125 per person, based on four people sharing Silver Self-Catering accommodation.
