Blackmore’s Night release a festive themed four song EP ‘Here We Come A-Caroling’ on December 4 via earMUSIC. The same label release the band’s new studio album ‘Nature’s Light’ next spring.

Lizzy Borden releases ‘Best of Lizzy Borden, Vol. 2‘ digitally on November 18.

Arthur Brown has teamed up with Vanilla Fudge’s Mark Stein to release a new single ‘Zombie Yelp’.

David Coverdale stated in a recent interview that he is working with Jimmy Page on a re-issue of their Coverdale/Page album. Also Whitesnake’s ‘Restless Heart’ album is getting a box set makeover.

Crashdiet have signed with a new management and have announced their new album will be released soon.

Saga release their new album ‘Symmetry’ on March 12 via earMUSIC. It contains acoustic reworkings of previously released songs.

David Lee Roth has released five new songs as part of a new online comic. These recordings feature guitarist John 5.

Steve Hackett releases a new acoustic album ‘Under A Mediterranean Sky’ on 22 January on Inside Out.

Magnum are working on their next studio album. However, as the studio they record is moving premises, recording will resume next summer. The album is planned for a 2022 release.

Dan Reed releases his new album ‘Lift Off’ on December 4. Guests include Richard Hilton (Chic) and James Bird (Mason Hill).

Inglorious release their new album ‘We Will Ride’ on Frontiers on February 12.

Thunder’s new album is called ‘All The Right Noises’ and is out on March 12 via BMG.

Foo Fighters have announced their new album will be called ‘Medicine At Midnight’ Roswell Records/RCA and is released on 5 March.

Former Glitter Band member John Rossall has just released his new album ‘The Last Glam In Years’.

Doro (pictured) releases a new album ‘Magic Diamonds – Best of Rock, Ballads & Rare Treasures’ via her own record label Rare Diamonds Productions on November 13.

Lee Aaron has released a festive album called ‘Almost Christmas’.

Joe Bonamassa is the feature of a documentary ‘Guitar Man’, arriving on video-on-demand and digital on December 8.

Paul Logue (Eden’s Curse) and Dream Theater’s James LaBrie are currently working on a new album together. The album is set to be acoustic and bombastic.

Saxon have announced they will be releasing a covers album shortly entitled ‘Inspirations’.

Download has announced more bands for next year’s festival including Megadeth, Monster Truck, Boston Manor & Massive Wagons.

Foo Fighters will broadcast a live streaming concert from the Roxy Theatre, Hollywood on Nov 14 at 8PM ET. The performance footage will be available for ticket buyers to watch for 48 hours after the live broadcast. A portion of proceeds will go to Sweet Relief, an organization providing financial assistance to musicians and music-industry workers who have been impacted by the pandemic.

Other Stuff

Bassist Martyn Millard has announced he is leaving Orange Goblin, who celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.

H.E.A.T have announced that lead singer Erik Grönwall will be leaving the band, and that his replacement will be original H.E.A.T vocalist Kenny Leckremo.

Music Venues Trust has unveiled The Red List, 30 UK music venues in imminent danger of permanent closure between now and March 31. These include the 1865 (Southampton), Waterloo Music Bar (Blackpool), Hootannany (Inverness) and the Railway Inn (Winchester).

Former Uriah Heep keyboards player and songwriter Ken Hensley. He was also a member of Blackfoot and appeared on albums by W.A.S.P. and Cinderella, as well as releasing a number of solo albums.
