Album review: FATAL VISION – Four Sides To Every Story

FATAL VISION - Four Sides to Every Story

Website [Release date 22.05.26]

Fatal Vision’s second album, “Four Sides to Every Story,” is a powerhouse of classic hard rock that truly showcases the band’s artistic growth. From the moment you hit play, you’re hit with a barrage of intricate guitar work, featuring riffs and licks that are both catchy and technically impressive. The rhythm section is equally stellar, with battering bass lines and dynamic drum patterns that lay down a solid, driving foundation for each track.

For me, What really makes this album stand out are the anthemic choruses and the strong, clear vocals which I loved instantly from the first album. The songs are designed to stick in your head and make you want to sing along, creating a truly immersive experience. Beyond the musicality, the songwriting delves into  themes of mental shutdown and the act of masking one’s true feelings. The lyricism is thought-provoking, evoking emotions that many people struggle to articulate, (myself included) making the album incredibly relatable and impactful.

It’s clear that Fatal Vision has poured their heart and soul into this release, demonstrating a significant upper trajectory since their last album. While there’s a definite intention behind the band’s lyrics, I personally find the beauty of music is that it’s an art form and therefore subjective. “Four Sides to Every Story” invites listeners to find their own meaning and interpretation, making it a deeply personal and engaging experience. This album for me isn’t just a collection of songs; it’s a testament to the band’s evolving artistry and a powerful statement not just for the band, but within the hard rock genre. ****
