What Magnum Means To Me…
Magnum in the Millennium
Since the late 1990s the number of physical singles released by Magnum – and indeed many artists – has diminished, with the emphasis on digital.
Historically the rarest single is their debut for CBS in 1975, a cover of ‘Sweets For My Sweet’. The A-side features Dave Morgan (bass) on lead vocals although it’s really the B-side that will interest fans. ‘Movin’ On’ is the band’s first original song to be released and features Bob Catley on lead vocals.
Both tracks were included on the expanded version of “Kingdom Of Madness” (Sanctuary, 2005)
Like Brothers We Stand (radio edit) (SPV/Steamhammer, 2007)
Your Lies
From the album “Princess Alice And The Broken Arrow” (2007)
So Let It Rain (radio edit) (SPV/Steamhammer, 2012)
So Let It Rain (album version)/Wild Angels (Live)*
From the album ‘”On The Thirteenth Day” (2012)
On Christmas Day (radio edit) (SPV/Steamhammer, 2014)
Born To Be King/On Christmas Day (album version)
Included on “Dance Of The Black Tattoo” (2021)
This release was available as a 10″ single and limited one-track physical promo.
* non-album track, live in Germany
