News - Album News

The Acacia Strain will release a new album, ‘You Are Safe From God Here’, on October 24 via Rise Records.

All Time Low release their new album ‘Everyone’s Talking!’ on October 17 through their own label, Basement Noise Records.

Alter Bridge release their eighth, and self-titled album, on January 9 via Napalm Records.

Ash release their new album ‘Ad Astra’ on October 3 via Fierce Panda.

Former It Bites vocalist & guitarist Francis Dunnery has joined John Payne’s Asia.

Bangalore Choir will be releasing their new studio album Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II’ via BraveWords Records in late 2025.

John Lees Barclay James Harvest have announced they will release a new studio album, ‘Relativity’, through Esoteric Antenna/Cherry Red Records on October 17.

Beyond the Black release their new album ‘Break The Silence’ on January 9 via Nuclear Blast.

Biohazard will release ‘Divided We Fall’, the band’s first studio album in over a decade, on October 17 via BLKIIBLK.

The sixth in a series of career-spanning David Bowie box sets, ‘I Can’t Give Everything Away (2002-2016)’, will be released by Parlophone on September 12.

Zac Brown Band release their mew studio album ‘Love & Fear’ on December 5.

‘Buckingham Nicks’, the 1973 album released by the pre-Fleetwood Mac duo of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, is finally being reissued on September 19 on vinyl, CD and digital.

Clawfinger will release ‘Before We All Die’, their first studio album in 18 years, on February 202, 2026 via the Perception/Reigning Phoenix Music.

Cold Chisel release ‘The Big Five-0 Live - Live at The Sidney Myer Music Bowl’ on August 8.

John Corabi has signed with Frontiers, who will release his next solo album which he is currently recording with producer Marti Frederiksen.

Crown Lands have signed with InsideOut Music who will release the band’s third album which they are currently working on.

Deftones release their new album ‘private music’ on August 22 via Reprise/Warner Records.

Bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth) and vocalist Jeff Scott Soto are set to release their second album, ‘Unbreakable’, on August 15 via Rat Pak Records.

FM (pictured) will releases their fifteenth studio album ‘Brotherhood’ on September 5 via Frontiers. The single ‘Living On the Run’ was released on July 3.

Foreigner re-issue their classic ’4′ album as a 5CD/Blu-ray package with newly remastered stereo or ATMOS versions, on September 12.

Freedom Call have renewed their contract with Steamhammer/SPV and plan to release their next studio album in the summer of 20026, with an autumn tour to follow.

Gypsy Pistoleros re-issue their latest album ‘Church of the Pistoleros’ on September 19 through their own label, the New Church Records.

Hartmann release their new album ‘Twenty Times Colder’ on September 19 through Pride & Joy Music.

Idlewild have announced a new self-titled album is set for release on October 3 and shared its lead single ‘Stay Out Of Place’ on July 7.

Kamelot celebrate 30 years since their debut album, ‘Eternity’, with a deluxe 3CD and 5LP boxset entitled ‘Ascension 1995-1998’ that brings together their first three albums. Each album has a  new remaster from Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica), as well as previously unreleased demo tracks for ‘Look Through These King’s Eyes’, ‘Millennium’ and ‘Eternal Flame’.

The Last Dinner Party release their second album ‘From The Pyre’ on October 17 on Island Records and the first single, with new single ‘This Is The Killer Speaking’, released on July 18.

Celebrating 50 years of ‘Physical Graffiti’, Led Zeppelin’s new ’Live EP’ will be released on September 12 on CD, vinyl and digitally for the first time. The EP features ’In My Time Of Dying’, ‘Trampled Under Foot’ (Live From Earl’s Court, 1975), ‘Sick Again’ and ‘Kashmir’ (Live From Knebworth, 1979).

Mammoth release their new album, ‘The End’, on October 24 on BMG.

Nine Inch Nails release the soundtrack for ‘Tron: Ares’ on September 19.

Robert Plant releases his new album ‘Saving Grace’ on September 26 through Nonesuch Records.

Steve Porcaro (Toto) releases his second solo album ‘The Very Day’ on October 3. ‘Miss Jane Sinclair’ was released as the lead single.

John Prine’s ‘Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings’ is released as a 30th anniversary deluxe edition on 12 September via Oh Boy Records.

Sabaton release their new album ‘Legends’ on October 17 via Better Noise Music.

Scorpions release ‘Coming Home Live’ on November 14 and it features a recording of their recent at Heinz von Heiden Arena, Hanover, .on July 5.

Supertramp’s classic 1970s albumsCrime Of The Century and ‘Crisis? What Crisis?’ are to have 50th anniversary vinyl reissues released through UMC on August 29.

The Switch - vocalist Bobby John, twin brothers Tom & James Martin (ex-Vega, Nitrate) and bassist Dennis Butabi Borg (Cruzh) – release their debut album ‘No Way Out’ on September 5 via Frontiers.

.38 Special release ‘Milestone’ on September 19 – their first new studio album in over twenty years.

Tedeschi Trucks Band release ‘Mad Dogs & Englishmen Revisited (Live At Lockin’)’ on September 12.

Ronnie Wood releases a new compilation ‘Fearless: The Anthology 1965-2025′ on on September 26 through BMG.

XTC’s 1979 album Drums And Wire’ is to be remixed in Dolby Atmos by Steven Wilson for the very first time. The album will be released on CD/Blu-ray and heavyweight vinyl through Ape House/Panegyric on September 26.

Cambridge Folk Festival will return in 2026, with a scaled back, two-day outdoor event at Cherry Hinton Hall, the festival’s spiritual home. There will also be live performances at the city’s numerous venues and performance spaces during the festival weekend.

Joe Perry has revealed in a recent interview Aerosmith are planning at least one more gig.

Thunder drummer Harry James will sit out the planned Quireboys summer dates as he recovers from surgery.

Laurence Jones has been forced to cancel his European tour dates due to a severe Crohn’s disease flare-up.

King Diamond have cancelled their remaining summer shows due to illness.

Jeff Lynne was forced to cancel the final two ELO farewell shows at Manchester and London’s Hyde Park due to illness.

The Steve Miller Band have cancelled their upcoming US tour due to “extreme weather conditions”.

Aldo Nova has suffered a severe back injury after a recent fall and as a result has cancelled his upcoming tour dates.

Saxon have cancelled their July and August gigs as Biff Byford is recovering after an “emergency procedure”.

Rick Wakeman has postponed this month’s US summer tour as he undergoes surgery.

Other Stuff

The David Bowie Centre opens at the V&A East Storehouse on September 13. The David Bowie archive includes over 90,000 items and the Centre will open with two guest curated displays by Nile Rodgers and The Last Dinner Party.

UK Royal Mint are producing a coin to commemorate Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary. The coin will feature mascot Eddie and has been designed by artist Albert ‘Akirant’ Quirantes.

Black Sabbath’s farewell gig was livestreamed to over 5m people worldwide. It is also set get a worldwide cinematic release in 2026.

Ozzy Osbourne publishes a new memoir titled Last Rites’ through Sphere/Little, Brown on October 7.

London’s Royal Albert Hall becomes first arena to commit to £1 LIVE ticket levy for grassroots. The plan will come into effect on October 1, and is set to raise an estimated £300,000 per year.

Drummer Matt Cameron has left Pearl Jam after 27 years with the band.

News - RIP

Percussionist Luís Jardim who appeared on albums by Asia, Seal, Bryan Ferry and many albums that were produced by Trevor Horn.

Bassist Kevin Riddles, founding member of Angel Witch, Tytan and Baphomet.

Strawbs founding member and long-time frontman Dave Cousins.

David Kaff, best known for portraying keyboardist Viv Savage in the Spinal Tap movie, he was also a founder member of 70′s prog rock band Rare Bird.

Multi-instrumentalist John ‘Poli’ Palmer played with Family and also worked with Pete Townshend, Peter Frampton and Elkie Brookes.

Vocalist and guitarist George Kooymans, a cofounding member of Golden Earring.

The “Prince of Darkness” Ozzy Osbourne, only two weeks after the Black Sabbath ‘Back to the Beginning’ farewell gig.  Ozzy was a founder member of the band in 1968 and pursued a solo career from 1980 returning to the band for the 2013 album ’13′ following a reunion gig in May 2012.  His latest solo album ‘Patient Number 9′ was released in 2022 and since then he contributed to Billy Morrison’s album ‘God Shaped Hole’.
